Wishlist

Food Blog Hopping and food review site hopping, I do that quite often, sometimes i drool my eyes over the super delicious menu and pictures, and then i can't remember which restaurant really impressed me with their menu that will pull me into their restaurant one day. So, just incase i forgot what restaurant i would like to go in the future, i will pen down my wishlist so that i have somewhere to refer to next time.

There you go, my eatery wishlist in WA, for my personal reference: (in no particular orders)
1. The Loose Box (no.89 in the Top 100 Restaurant in Australia)
2. K's Restaurant
3. Cream Restaurant
4. Bouchon Bistro
5. Jackson's
6. Tsunami
7. The Raffles
8. Star Anise (no. 48 in the Top 100 Restaurant in Australia)
9. The Mussel Bar
10. Nine Fine Food
11. Twisted Fork
12. Xanadu Winery Restaurant

The above wishlist restaurant are the ones that is highly rated, overly priced and serve exquisite fine food.

Here are my another wishlist which i think i could try them all out pretty soon. (The more "down-to-earth" restaurant):
1. Yuki Sushi (Willeton)
2. "Da Wan Mein" (Big Bowl Noodles in Northbridge)
3. Outback Jack's & Grill (Freo)
4. Ha-Lu Japanese Restaurant (My Hawthorn)
5. Ruocco's Pizzeria Bar & Restaurant

That's it for my wishlist, hope that i'll be able to do a dining reviews on all of the restaurant listed above, doesn't matter if they are pricey or cheap. Heh ~

While we all know not to expect too much of spectacular experience when going to an Asian Restaurant, except for fast and tasty food. It doesn't bother me much if they were not providing top notch service or the tables were sticky, or using chipped crockery, as long as the food is good. Unfortunately ... Self-heating can of latte?

Mom bought something "rather interesting" for me the other day, thought that I might want to try. Yes, a can of self-heating latte! I've heard of self-heating instant noodle bowl from Japan and also self-heating teriyaki chicken but never tried it myself. I'm not sure how popular this self-heating latte is, obviously I've never heard of it as I thought it is way to easy to get a cup of coffee anywhere in the world, be it a good cup of espresso or a rather ordinary cup of filtered coffee or maybe just get a can of nescafe from the vending machinece near you, but you get the caffeine kick whenever you want it anyway. So, on this rather ordinary day, I finally took up the courage and try it! Happy Mid Autumn Festival

It was Mid Autumn Festival/ Mooncake Festival/ Lantern Festival for every Chinese out there. It is also a day to reunite with your family; to chat, eat, drink tea and play lantern under the perfectly round moon. I have lost count on how many Mid Autumn Festival I've missed celebrating with my family. This year was one exception, I got to eat mooncake, drink tea, play lanterns and candles with my family. You'll never feel too old playing lanterns. When we were a lot younger back then, we used to play with candles, making it into a fire stove and started cooking with dried leaves where we picked up at the garden. Well, now that we have all grown up, we don't play with fire anymore, but focus more on decorating the garden with colourful paper lanterns.
